The Rodmatic operations of Multico and Hytek are driven by Information Technology, in order to fully communicate with its suppliers, customers and internal operations. All systems are fully networked, with high speed connectivity and continuous updating giving customers access to live production and stock information. Sales order processing is intergrated from sales order to delivery with inventory control available for direct customer order progress either by Internet access, fax or post. Security is viewed as vital with full firewall and three-level virus protection. Within the design for manufacture consultancy service, Rodmatic Hytek has installed the capability to view most drawing formats and operates the EdgeCAM advanced CAM system that is fully integrated with Part Modeller and Solid Machinist giving powerful simulation for cycle prove-out prior to machining. With the quality control laboratory and a Mitutoyo CMM with analysis software, live inspection reports can be created for direct transmission to the customer. |
